But now Austrian Airlines is providing its passengers with mobile phone service for $5.95 a day - plus the cost of outgoing calls - for use in any of the airlines destinations in central and Eastern Europe, as well as Israel. The phones are delivered to travelers anywhere in the United States before departure so that the phone number can be given out before departures. The phone can be returned from any U.S. mailbox using an envelope provided by the airline. All incoming calls to the phones are free.
